Do you take before AND after photos?

Yes. In fact, we recommend it. Showing the starting point of a project makes the after images more powerful.
We've all seen those commercials where they show before and after images of someone who goes on a diet and they're shot in different locations at different times of day with different light. I don't know about you, but that immediately sets off my BS meter.
Good quality before AND after photos tell the authentic story. A story about your craftsmanship and vision.
How long does a shoot take?

Typically about a half hour per room if it's clean, staged, and ready when we arrive. If we have to make any adjustments to the staging, lighting, etc. it can add more time.
Staging? Do I need to do that?

The good news is that kitchens and bathrooms already start with a lot of visual interest--cabinets, appliances, islands, etc.--so as long as it's clean, all appliance stickers have been removed, and there's no construction materials or visible clutter, we're in good shape.
Some people prefer to add decorative touches. In a kitchen that might be a bowl of fruit in a color that compliments the space, a high-end coffee maker, a glass jar with quality utensils...
In a bath that could be a small plant, white hand towels, or a clean, neutral shower curtain.
But don't worry too much about this piece--we'll talk you through it in the lead up to the shoot.
